Tale Teller Kids — Continuum (Early Learners)
Tale Teller Kids — Continuum (Early Learners)
A gentle music space for children & their grown-ups
This is a low-pressure membership for parents and carers who want to support a child’s early relationship with music — without rushing, testing, or forcing outcomes.
For £3 per month, members receive access to recorded, child-friendly music sessions designed for early learners. These sessions are calm, repeatable, and exploratory, allowing children to listen, move, tap, sing, or simply observe in their own time.
There are no grades.
No targets.
No expectation to “progress”.
Children are free to engage at their own pace — watching actively, drifting in and out, or returning to the same material many times.
What’s included
- 🎵 Recorded music sessions for early learners
- 🌱 Sound, rhythm, and note discovery through story, movement, and play
- ✍️ Gentle introductions to reading music (as places and patterns, not rules)
- 🎼 Optional clapping, tapping, and listening activities
- 👪 Guidance designed for parents & carers — not lessons aimed at children
New recordings are added over time, building familiarity rather than overload.
The Continuum approach (for adults)
Tale Teller Kids is rooted in the Continuum Approach to music learning.
Continuum prioritises:
- emotional safety
- curiosity and attention
- continuity over intensity
- the body and ear before notation
- freedom from fear, comparison, or pressure
The aim is not early achievement, but a positive first relationship with music that can support later learning — or simply remain a joyful part of life.
No prior musical experience is required.
Private lessons (optional)
Members may book private or small-group sessions separately if they wish.
These are:
- entirely optional
- arranged at a pace that suits the child
- tailored to individual needs and attention styles
There is no expectation to take lessons in order to benefit from the membership.
Who this is for
- children at the very beginning of musical discovery
- parents who want a calm, ethical alternative to formal lessons
- families seeking inclusive, neurodiversity-aware approaches
- carers who value listening, patience, and play
A note on pace
Children develop musically in non-linear ways. Some may repeat the same session for weeks. Others may dip in and out. Both are valid.
This membership exists to hold space, not to hurry it.
