Hello beautiful world and, more specifically, all the budding creatives itching to create art music or to appreciate literature and written word.
I have founded the new online academy in order to create a space for individuals who want to be inspired and to share in the power of the creative fine arts.
Subscribers will share in my studio practice if they so choose, or can learn a new musical instrument. I teach beginners of all ages in Suzuki method cello, double bass, viola and piano to grade 3 and then ABRSM and other methods exploring classical, jazz, and other genres. For more advanced musicians I offer practice and discovery workshops, music therapy and meditation workshops, digital editing workshops and more.
I can also offer broad tips using various music and creative software.
On Thursdays I paint and draw en plein air and share tips and study sessions for creating fine art using various media. I also use various cameras and we take them into the edit suite and create beautiful images for print.

The Sarnia de la Maré Academy brings decades of experience in fine art and music to the Academy. With a background spanning multiple creative fields, my teaching style blends technical expertise with artistic intuition, allowing students and subscribers to develop both skill and self-expression. But as a practising artist and musician, I want to learn and develop too. My daily sessions are as much of a learning curve for me as well as anyone watching and I am open to sharing questions and answers with my audience.
I use Facebook and YouTube to stream all live videos.
